Right after The Gorge Echoes Through The Canyon (featuring Joni Mitchell) weekend in June 2023, Brandi Carlile announced a new show. This one would be at the Hollywood Bowl on October 14 and would be called Brandi Carlile & Friends – Live At The Hollywood Bowl. On her social’s she said, “I have no idea what I’m gonna do yet but it’s going to be special.”
With an entire summer of Pink support, band and solo shows behind them, this would be pretty much the final gig before moving back into the studio with Sista Strings and hunkering down for winter. Next stop would be Mexico in January with the annual festival Girls Just Wanna Weekend.
During the Brandi Carlile & Friends performances she indicated it was the ‘end of an era’. The band has been touring for nearly two years, starting with the mini tour post pandemic (Running Wild Tour), the major “Beyond These Silent Days” Tour in 2022, and then adding the 2023 Pink Support tour . As well, Brandi Carlile has does a ‘next level’ amount of side projects. More recently the launch of Brandi Carlile as producer, has seen her do some video interviews, issue some promo materials (pamphlet and promo CD) as well as being on the cover of the November 2023 “MIX” publication. The Twins have announced an upcoming album (finally! ;)) . The Unofficial Archivist can not wait to see what’s next.
