This 6 track ep was released by Sony Connect as a digital EP in 2005
Once again – similar to other EPs of the time some of the songs came from the first debut S/T and some others (The Story, Hiding My Heart) appeared on the second album – The Story. (Hiding My Heart appeared as the ‘hidden track’ at the end of The Story).
Sony Connect music store by Sony was an application for windows to manage Sony’s music online store on home users computers. Around 2003 Sony started producing “exclusive” music available only to users of Sony Connect. It lasted until 2008. Brandi Carlile was one of the artists in this “exclusive” series including other artists such as Taylor Swift and John Legend.
The track “Hiding My Heart” chorus changes melodically quite a lot from this early live version – to the album one that featured a couple of years later on The Story LP.
