Following John Prine’s death from Covid in 2020, the family record label Oh Boy Records released this Vol 2 compilation album full of original covers of John Prine’s songs. It’s the accompanying the 2010 Vol 1.
On Vol 2, Brandi Carlile contributed a cover of I Remember Everything, which is the last song John Prine had recorded. She would sing it in tribute at the 2021 Grammy’s. John’s Prines song I Remember Everything won a Grammy and 2 x Americana awards that year.
