What is Drop The Needle?
Over the years, there have been enough interviews and discussions, that for many of the song’s there is more information. That’s where our ‘Drop the Needle’ comes into play.
We will ‘drop the needle’ on specific tracks to reveal a bit more about them – who wrote them, discussion and commentary from interviews from the band about the track, reviews, rankings and curios etc. We will deep dive into specific song’s – researching further into musical and lyrical details, writing and producing details.
We will endeavour never to assume anything and will stick to the facts from sourced information. As The Unofficial Archivist is looking to document (archive/catalogue) the music, rather than be subjective, we will not provide reviews (usually 😉 ). The odd superlative creeps in. But you know… why not.
