On July 28th 2023, Joni Mitchell at Newport was released, 1 year after the surprise performance at the Newport Folk Festival took the world by storm. It went on to win the Grammy for best Folk album at the 2024 Grammys.
The album is beautifully produced by Joni Mitchell and Brandi Carlile. It was recorded live by Sean Quackenbush – Mixed by Brandi Carlile’s mixer Brendon Bell and Brandi, and mastered by the legendary Bernie Grundman.
The liner notes are by long time friend Cameron Crowe.
