Joni Mitchell – The Reprise Albums (1968-1971)

This box set was released under the Joni Mitchell Archives series, (JMA), in 2021. The box set includes, Song to A Seagull (new Mix) I Came to the City, Out of the City and Down to the Seaside, Clouds, Ladies of the Canyon, and Blue.

Brandi Carlile wrote the liner notes for the box set. It’s well known now Brandi Carlile’s friendship with Joni Mitchell in her latter years post Joni Mitchells aneurysm in 2015. Joni once described her as “her ambassador”.

Brandi Carlile has performed the entire Blue album twice (as of 2022), once in LA in 2019 and once in New York in 2021. She performed with Joni at the ‘Joni Jam’ at Newport Folk Festival in 2022 and will perform with Joni at The Gorge Ampitheatre in June 2023 in the Joni Jam 2.
