Seattle’s 103.7 The Mountain had 15 years of music before releasing this live Volume 12 in 2006. Continuing the tradition of Radio Stations releasing live compilations of visiting musical performers it was a regular pit stop for Brandi Carlile in her home town.

This CD says “Thanks to you, and our partnership with Starbucks and Hear Music, we’ve contributed over $1,000,000 to The Wilderness Society! Your purchase of this disc helps this extraordinary organization keep the Pacific Northwest the most beautiful place on earth.”

It features 18 tracks including David Gray, Gomez, KT Tunstell, and Brandi Carlile.

Brandi performs “Someday Never Comes” off her debut album, Brandi Carlile. Written by Brandi Carlile and Tim Hanseroth

One of the very earliest known officially released live radio recordings that would become a staple of her catalogue over the years. (View more live Radio performances here)

The CD comes in a cardboard three way opening gatefold sleeve, and says about Brandi Carlile’s track…

“What a year it’s been for The Mountains and Brandi Carlile. Following the release of her major label debut, this local superstar played our Winter Warmth concert, three different Mountain Music Lounge sessions and headlined a show at the Woodland Park Zoo. We’d be concerned that she was following us, if we weren’t so busy following her.”
