Main Release
Brandi Carlile first self-made ep versions include “Room for Me” and “Open Doors” – This is clearly a combination of the two.

Room For Doors is a full CD of songs written by Brandi Carlile prior to forming the band “Brandi Carlile” with Tim and Phil Hanseroth. It’s a self-released album, recorded at London Bridge Studios in Seattle and at home studios around 1999.

It was at London Bridge Studios (upstairs in the attic room). In her memoir Broken Horses, Brandi says that the London Bridge engineer John Plum ocassionally took side projects upstairs on the computer with pro-tools. It’s at this time Brandi Carlile met Tim Hanseroth for the first time. They were recording in the real studio downstairs.

The track list includes some early versions of songs that would later appear on other albums by the band.

It was not long after this first meeting where they started appearing as ‘the band’ they are now – and started appearing at gigs together.

Track list includes 9 songs (3 of which have co-writing credits).
