After recording some songs with The Shed, Brandi Carlile created her first solo self-made ep release called Room for Me.
It’s believed this self-released album, was recorded at home studios around 1999/2000.
The first track 5:00 was originally performed while Brandi Carlile was in The Shed with her brother and brothers Troy and Sean. All tracks were also re-mixed for a 2001 LA Showcase CD while trying to get a record deal.
