Believed to be around 1997 with brother and sister Brandi and Jay Carlile plus two other brothers. The Carlile siblings would have been around 17 years of age.
In her book Broken Horses, Brandi Carlile talks about how she and Jay one day met a couple of men in their 30’s – Darren and Troy, two brothers who were learning to play intruments in the shed off a trailer nearby. Jay and Brandi joined their band and called it The Shed.
This version of the CD – has a sun face type pencil drawing or sketch which is replicated on the CD inside.
In her book she said The Shed, felt like a ‘boy’s band’ and she eventually went out on her own, as Brandi Carlile in 1999.
