Brandi Carlile provides backing vocals to the song Travellin’ Light on Dierk Bentley’s 2018 recording The Mountain.
Matt Chamberlain who was the full time tour drummer on the In These Silent Days 2022 tour was the drummer on this album.
In a short interview Brandi Carlile did in 2019 with a Nashville radio station, she says “I love Dierks. He came out to Telluride one year, Telluride Colorado where I was playing the festival, and he had kind of an epiphany moment out there, a reinvention of himself. He wrote a beautiful song called Travellin’ Light and he sent me the lyrics and he said I’m tired of living unforgiving, I’m travellin light. And I said I can get with that man. And we’ve been singing it together ever since.”
