In recent years there has been a resurgence in the cassette tape. The nostalgia for this medium has seen an increasing amount of new releases also coming out on cassette in small amounts. So far, we can only find 10 instances where any of the Brandi Carlile band have appeared on a cassette tape.
- The first and earliest is when teenagers Tim and Phil Hanseroth and their band mate Miroslav Stefanov released a cassette tape S/T ep called Chutzpah in 1993.
1.a Edit – a new Cassette from The Fighting Machinists – Demo – appeared on open market (ebay) in September 2023. New addition to our list of known music.
2. The second cassette features The Story on Grey’s Anatomy soundtrack in 2007. This appears to only have been released in Indonesia. It’s the only time that a song of the Brandi Carlile band has been released on cassette that we can find.
